- • Unfortunately, we experienced an earthquake while we were there. The staff was wonderful in trying to calm everyone that was there. They brought out a cart with aromatic teas coffee, water to make us as comfortable as possible. A very big suggestion would be that there should be some written information on a card or indivisible location to inform guest in the event of an earthquake. What should be each individual's response if they are in the hotel room. We did not know how to evacuate or what to do how to protect ourselves. That is a very important issue to address with the staff. Each one we spoke to had a different opinion of what we should've done. Otherwise the staff was really incredibly wonderful and very accommodating. But they need to have information for the travelers to be well informed of a response to an earthquake

Our stay was pleasant and I would highly recommend York with high praise as a hotel of preference.
Everything offered at York was exceptional!. All of the amenities were great! The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were always fresh, clean, and equipped with everything needed to help make our stay comfortable. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations and the staff was very attentive. We loved that English speakers were accessible and informed us of a wonderful shopping plaza located in proximity less than a five-minute walk. We felt safe the entire time and even sat outside the Plaza and enjoyed ice cream.

- • There is nothing that really stands out other than us having to ask for assistance on TV functions. After instructions, everything went smoothly. We had no complaints on our part during our entire stay.

- • I like the room. The tech was broken, so I couldn't use Google Home to control the curtains, adjust the lights, or the climate control. The bathroom door was off track, so I couldn't close it. The vase/tray in the bathroom was partially broken.
