This was my first stay in Turkey on a motorcycle tour from the UK, and it was exactly what I needed. Erdem was a superb and very helpful host. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the secure parking was a big bonus for my motorcycle. Outstanding value for money. I would happily recommend this hotel to other motorcycle travellers.

Quite OK for a short stay
The pension is located in an old part of Izmir with narrow streets and a very local way of living. Overall, it is an OK place to stay for a few nights. I was staying for 2 weeks. I appreciate that I was given a large room with air conditioning and a small balcony. The breakfast was very modest - an egg, a few tomato and cucumber slices, cheese, sausage, marmalade, tea or coffee, bread. There was a fridge and a kettle in the room and they also provided some plates and forks, which was very handy to have. The metro was a 15-minute walk downhill (back uphill, but I did not mind). There are places to eat and stores nearby, and the big shopping street is just a few blocks down. The TV had one news channel in English.

- • The balcony was dirty when I arrived. During my 2 weeks stay, they installed the boiler, removed the boiler, and did some other work in the apartment while I was trying to work, which was rather frustrating. No cleaning was done during 2 weeks, I ran out of toilet paper and had to solve the rubbish bin issue by myself. Smoking - it is not something the hotel can do much about, but people are smoking everywhere and the smoke comes into the room through open windows. The lighting could be brighter as it was hard working in the evening.
The hotel's parking was very useful since there is a hospital nearby and it's generally busy. Moreover, the staff was very friendly and willing to help. Overall, a very good value for money option.
