- • The room was 2x or 3x smaller than stated in the description on the website, the staff claimed it was not their problem and we ended up with the wrong room. Throughout the stay, we couldn't flush the toilet despite assurances that it would soon be possible. The air conditioning was disgustingly dirty, so we couldn't use it and the room was very warm. The beds, advertised as suitable for 3 people, were very narrow, and we slept very uncomfortably. Some towels were suspiciously stained with a brown color.
Very bad hygiene environment!

All negative reviews on the comments are true! 😱 I can understand that space is limited in Hong Kong, so having a very small room is normal, but not providing basic amenities (no TV, no hairdryer, no hangers, etc.) is okay, but hygiene is essential! The room's hygiene is extremely terrible! Very dirty! The bed sheets, pillows, duvet covers (the hotel's so-called duvet is a thin cover) all had various colorful stains, hairs, dust, dirt, etc., as if they had never been changed, or their bedding itself was very dirty! The air was dusty, the walls were dirty with mold, hair. There was a ceiling fan in the room, covered in dust, looking scary as if it would fall off when running. The air conditioning switch was on the wall, but there was no remote control to adjust the temperature, and it was very noisy when running, very loud! The decibels were as loud as the noise of traffic on the road! I saw in other reviews that there were cockroaches in the room, and I was terrified all night, unable to sleep well, it was a truly terrifying accommodation experience! Charging 100 Hong Kong dollars as a deposit for such a terrifying accommodation environment? I really don't understand. In addition, I had already paid all room fees (including taxes, service charges, etc.) on the booking platform, but the front desk charged an additional fee called "hotel tax" of 10 Hong Kong dollars. The flow of people entering and leaving the building was also very complicated, it was really a very scary accommodation experience!

Very basic hostel but clean, comfortable beds, very helpful at the reception. They ask for a deposit. Close to the ferry boarding.

Good value for money. The room was small but had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

A cheap stay in the vibrant Hong Kong city center!
Staff was very kind throughout our stay. The room was very clean, and for this low price, we got new towels every day and new bedsheets every two days. The location was excellent and close to the MTR. Having a 24-hour reception is always nice.

- • While we are not sure, it did seem that we got another room from another hostel as we noted that it was smaller than the booked 14m^2 and it carried the name of one of the other hostels that were serviced by the same reception. While not problematic, this was slightly weird. We also noted that the AC was dripping quite a bit in the beginning. This stopped halfway through our stay, but with the AC hanging right above the bed, this was quite uncomfortable. Also, the bed is quite hard as it was (in this room) a mattress laid flat on a table.
