Mr. Kiyo, the staff, is excellent.
The location is excellent. The bed is by the window, but it's a full window facing the sea. I slept with the curtains open, and even if I woke up in the middle of the night, seeing the sea right there made me feel great. It's a lively and crowded area in Jiufen, but returning to the inn feels like entering a different world - a quiet and relaxing space. The room is tastefully decorated down to the smallest details. Kiyo's homemade breakfast is delicious. I want to stay here again and would recommend it. The thorough support provided through LINE messages from the beginning is very reassuring. Kiyo's Japanese is perfect.

- • The first floor has the entrance and living room, and the second floor has the bedroom, toilet, and bathroom. There is a staircase from the second floor to the first floor inside the room, with no barrier, so I don't think there's any risk of falling, but I felt a bit nervous for some reason. Parents with children might worry. Although the toilet and bathroom are not directly visible, they are not separated. It's fine if you're alone, but if two people stay, it's a bit awkward as the situation in the toilet is completely visible.
Jiufen is recommended for accommodation (we went to Keelung Night Market at night).

Definitely the best location with the best view was very tranquil and at the end of the market, so no noise.
The location was splendid. They were so accommodating, taking our luggage while we strolled through the old city and enjoyed all the wonderful things there. Breakfast was awesome.
