Lovely place
The house is absolutely gorgeous, and our room was comfy and spacious. My favourite part was the DIY breakfast. There is absolutely everything on offer. We had a leisurely breakfast with croissants, muesli, yoghurt and fruit, whilst reading the newspaper. Can't remember when last I did that! Thanks for a lovely stay.

- • There is quite a bit of traffic noise, so keep that in mind. It's on a main road. Ask for a room a bit further away, and you should be fine.
Great stay at the eastern gateway of the Garden Route
We had a really nice stay!! The property is located in Walmer close to all the amenities, we went to cape Recife and Addo from here and it was quite easy to reach both places. The house was really nice with wooden floors, a pool and a big kitchen to have breakfast(there was plenty of amazing food for breakfast and even snacks and drinks for the evening if you’d like to have anything) Jane was a great host, she explained everything that we needed to know about the accommodation in detail and she gave a lot of tips and reccomendations on what to do and see in the area

- • We had a really nice stay!! The property is located in Walmer close to all the amenities, we went to cape Recife and Addo from here and it was quite easy to reach both places. Lovely stay with great breakfast!
Lovely period home, large room with comfortable bed and a heater for cooler nights. An excellent breakfast choice and use of the kitchen, in addition to tea/coffee facility in bedroom, appreciated. We didn’t try the pool but really enjoyed sitting out on the patio watching the birds in the garden. Jane and Pierre were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them.

- • I'd be hard-pressed to find anything, to be honest, but it might be worth noting that if you are a light sleeper, the property is on a busy road so there is traffic noise until late evening. However, it dies off towards 11 pm so it doesn’t affect sleep.
Excellent guest house, with attentive host/owner.
Breakfast is self-service. All options available, fresh fruit, cereals etc. Whole, well-equipped kitchen at your disposal to prepare breakfast.

This was, by far, the most beautiful guesthouse we have had the luck and pleasure to stay at, in our 20+ years of traveling. It's super modern and chic, and it has been wonderfully thought of and decorated by the owner. Such attention to details, great interior design taste, and at the same time so inviting and warm. So sad we stayed only one night before our flight out. The breakfast is available as a self-catering, meaning everything is provided in the fridge for a good next day breakfast. There are eggs, bacon, yogurt, different types of cereal, cheese, salami, honestly everything was more than plentiful. It was above and beyond. Fruits and croissants as well as jam, butter, tea & coffee are available. If there would be a Booking Excellence star or something like that, this accommodation would be well worth it. I'll add some pics below
