Bad food experience
Had lunch at the Rooftop bar and what was supposed to be a good experience/moment ended the opposite. One dish didn't come the way I requested and the other came with a problem like bacteria or another situation. The person eating this dish was sick for more than 12 hours. After complaining, the next day, they did not take any responsibility for this situation.

Fabulous
A group of 4 of us stayed one night at the Verride Palacio. It was wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Pre the visit I had lots of contact with the reception planning a day of tourism and eating in Lisbon and they were very helpful in sorting out excellent restaurants and a tuktuk tour. The rooms are large, spacious and the beds are huge! The rooftop bar has excellent views and cocktails. However, the 'taster breakfast' was incredible and we only managed to get through three of the five stages! A very memorable stay, thank you to the staff.

I’ve traveled a lot and I believe Verride was at least on my top 3 hotels in life. The room is absolutely amazing, wide space, with a great assortment of pillows and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is unbelievable, with a unique concept of a 5-step menu chosen by the chef every day. The staff is really kind and helpful at all times. The location and hotel facilities in general were great but it is hard to want to leave your room.

- • I missed a gym, but I have been told they have plans to build one in the future. The shower box does not contain the water properly so it splashed to the bathroom but it’s promptly cleaned by staff every day.

- • The air conditioning was either broken or it was not turned on yet for the season. Our room was incredibly warm. The staff was very nice and brought us a fan. But they really should have comped us wine or discounted the room. Or they should post in their description that air conditioning is only available in certain months. We went in March and in Lisbon you can have warm days. I also came by car and it was incredibly difficult to find the street. They really need better direction on how to find the hotel. However, the staff was incredibly nice. Breakfast was good but it was a tasting menu and you need to plan for it… it could take an hour. Otherwise nicely decorated and they had a steam shower that was nice.
Beautiful and romantic getaway
The hotel is located in an old palace which has been renovated and repurposed accordingly. The room was impeccable and the views from the rooftop bar are spectacular.

- • I wish it was a bit more affordable, but the service, room size and comfort, and the views were worth the expense.

Good location, beautiful hotel design, very pleasant bed linen. A luxurious massage in the spa.

- • Very uncomfortable faucets in the bathroom, torture. The shower itself is also inconvenient, there is little space for cosmetics, although the room itself is large. We had an upgraded room on the 2nd floor. The windows are at the level of the stairs, where tourists walk day and night, it is impossible to open them: people constantly peek in as they pass by, drunk people were shouting at night, waking us up. There is very little lighting in the room. They also overdid it with breakfast, everything is too complicated, and for a man, it may not be filling, and everything takes a long time to wait for food, especially if you are in a hurry to the airport in the morning.

- • The room was not clean, especially with a dirty and wet chair, and no alternative room was available. When we requested cleaning, the cleanliness did not improve. The location is very poor, right in front of an area full of garbage. The bathroom has no shower, and the faucet only gets warm if fully turned to the maximum. The room (Deluxe Baika Room) overlooked a noisy alley all day. In short, it was an unsatisfactory experience, and I would not recommend this hotel at all.
