Excellent highway hotel
Excellent hotel for a business overnight stay. Bathroom has been nicely renovated in recent years, mattress in my room was a bit saggy. No noise from the highway, not even with a room on that side. Some noise from the hallway though. Breakfast is good, but quite pricey. A fresh orange juice machine would be a nice addition. Staff is friendly, but the overall condition of the hotel feels a bit dated compared to other Van der Valk hotels.

The room was large with a terrace. I was not aware that the hotel is located at a highway parking lot. I don't find that optimal.

Super start to our touring holiday!
Beautiful hotel, exceptionally well maintained. Easily accessible from the motorway, yet backing onto peaceful forest paths lined with ripening blackberries. Very helpful staff, providing friendly personal service - special mention for the young man at Reception who kept our iPad charging while we enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast - and monitored our departure to ensure we didn't leave without it!

However, this hotel clearly isn't run to the same high standards as others in the chain. The decor has bumps, scrapes, and marks everywhere, and it's not acceptable to let black mold grow in the shower.

Stay away
Really outdated and not a nice feel at all. It is super expensive for what you get, the food at the buffet is very average, and the service is very robotic. Very disappointing as this was an expensive bongo voucher for a birthday gift and we deserved better!

Close to almost not worth it
Everything is nice except the service in the restaurant... I had to wait almost two hours for my food and half an hour for a drink. The server was not nice and kept walking across us. Everything is good except the experience in the restaurant is terrible
