- • The soundproofing is poor, and you can hear voices and snoring from the neighboring room. Particularly, the soundproofing on the corridor side is terrible, and even with the windows closed, the noise is loud. Since the flight the next day was an early morning one, it was difficult to sleep, and using earplugs was also challenging.
Modern and very comfortable facilities
We really liked this hotel: its facilities are modern and its design is super pleasant. The room and common areas are clean, feel safe, and there is not much noise interference. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. The location is good, close to main avenues with an excellent public transport offer. There are also good restaurants and bars a few blocks from the hotel. Safety box and fridge in the room. We would come back, even for longer stays.

- • The only thing we didn't like was that the bathroom door in the room didn't have a lock or close to the frame edge, which can be a bit uncomfortable if the food didn't sit well with you hahahaha

- • The lack of a garage or an agreement with a parking lot forced us to pay 250 reais for two nights. Some time ago we stayed at another Up, the one on Viamonte, which had an agreement with a nearby parking lot and it was fine. I think Up Barrio Norte should follow suit.
