The window is not tight, you can hear the noise of the street, the hotel equipment is outdated.

- Room very small - TV too small and set too dark - long black hair on the floor, candy wrappers - Bathroom only 80 cm wide, tiles broken, toilet flush plate broken, flush plate loose and taped with adhesive tape - Toilet too low, not good for guests with knee problems - Bathroom not clean, black hair on the floor and in the shower - Hotel in an old building, no 'old building charm', everything worn out and in need of restoration - Breakfast room nicely furnished and clean - Breakfast okay, nothing special - Great location, public transport right outside the door Normally, I give all hotels a chance and never a bad review, but I cannot recommend this hotel in good conscience 🙁

Very friendly and personal welcome even late in the evening. Room a bit older but very clean and quiet. Slept very well! Breakfast very good and also available very early. Great!

I liked the very friendly, helpful staff, the very clean bathroom with shower, the curtains for darkening the windows at night (in room 38), and the good, rich breakfast in the morning; For guests with very light sleep, I recommend taking and using earplugs, as the subways in front of the hotel can squeak when braking in the evening;

For a city trip to Düsseldorf without a car, this hotel is very well located. The subway and bus station is right outside the door, supermarkets, bakeries, and shops are just around the corner in the neighborhood, also a good pizzeria and some kebab shops in the immediate vicinity, a big plus, as it makes you flexible, you can shop for groceries there and quickly reach the main station, the city center, the Rhine, but also the Henkel factory or e.g. Benrath Palace. In the rooms facing the subway, it can get a bit loud in the evenings and mornings due to the squeaking of the trains, so I recommend taking earplugs and a dark sleep mask for the nights or booking a room facing the back. For me, it was quite okay and a good stay with a good breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. I will gladly come back.

Too noisy because of the bar on the ground floor and the arcade across the street
