A good hotel for a base to explore the city.
The rooms were adequate as a centralized location to all of the city. The staff were very helpful. The front door being locked 24hrs a day; the local area has a large community of homeless drug takers and having that security gave peace of mind.

- • The lack of soundproofing for the daily garbage collection and sounds from the street below. The noise was unbearable each day. The lack of entertainment in the room, the TV had about 4 channels that were very much classic western channels. The lighting wasn't very good, the lights were pointing in random directions and they couldn't be reached to change them. No amenities for making beverages in the room or a chiller for holding cold beverages.
For a short stay in SF, an address!

- • I have nothing to complain about. The hotel seems to be old but met the lodging needs very well. Good bed, room with space for 2 people and their luggage.
