Miller is Amazing!
Miller, the bartender, is amazing. He is kind and follows up on issues without you even asking. I was complaining about someone with the airlines being rude, and he made sure that the hotel experience was a 10!

Amazing trip to The Westin Cozumel
This was a fantastic vacation. If you’re looking for a long stretch of beach or a party atmosphere then this is not for you. If you want a relaxing vacation with amazing service, great food and a view to die for then this is the place to be. The water is incredible and the snorkelling right off the resort was so good. Crystal clear turquoise water that you could see right to the bottom of the ocean floor. Joseph, Carmen, Israel, David, Moises, Jesus, Roseado, Anandias, Alex, Bellem, Juan, Santiago, Eduardo, Daniel, Margarita, Facundo, Jorge and anyone else I have missed, thank you for making our trip special! We will definitely be back!

I would return without thinking
I love that all the rooms have an ocean view and that it is not a huge hotel. The beach was lovely and you can snorkel there and see many fish. It has a very good location

Spa visit was amazing!
Sara and Guilian were so great! Our spa experience was first rate. My husband and I have been to numerous resorts and spas and this ranks as one of our top spa experiences hands down! From the welcome through the entire experience the girls were awesome! Definitely ask for them at the Zazil Spa at the Westin!

Westin Cozumel Dinners Are Special
Cozumel is a beautiful tropical spot that is unique in my experience. The one thing that makes the Westin Cozumel outstanding is the group of people that work there. Each and every Westin employee I met made me feel welcomed and appreciated. Team Dinner: Israel, David, Rosendo, Moyses, Carmen and Joseph made our dinners enjoyable and memorable. They gave extra effort to make us feel special. Thanks for the experience.

Like Family
We were a party of eight. We all had such a great time! The staff treated us like family. We had some amazing meals! An excellent team of servers took great care to provide us an excellent experience. Everyone was amazing. Thank you, Isreal (Five Diamonds!), Rosendo, Sebastian, Joseph, Moises, Jesus, Carmen, Aranias, Hilario, Margarita, Diana, Oscar, Mary, Juan, Jorge, Alex, and more. Belem is such a kind and friendly hostess it was nice to see her smiling every morning at breakfast! Fecundo the bartender was super attentive, kept our drink flowing with a smile. Daniel is a great leader, always present and interacting and providing direction to his team. He was in the background quietly providing guidance and direction to his team Thank you all!

Great views and not much else
I stayed here for a week and paid for the all inclusive package for two rooms. We have stayed at a number of hotels on Cozumel over the years and overall I was very unimpressed with the stay. The good: the cleaning and back office staff are very pleasant. The hotel has good views of the ocean and is close to the shore with snorkeling close by. My wife really enjoyed the ocean side restaurant views. The bad: most everything else. The client facing staff seemed to go out of their way to make things difficult with the exception of two of of the waitstaff. Upon arrival late in the evening, the hostess refused to seat us because we didn’t have a reservation, despite being unable to make a reservation. The front desk was unable to resolve the situation. Aside from the breakfast buffet, the food was not good and the bar staff seem generally overworked. At the ocean restaurant, and with open seating elsewhere, the staff would regularly seat us at tables with broken ceiling fans and would have to argue with them to get reseated. The room was a work in progress. The smoke detector was removed from the wall and the air conditioning, which cut out for a day, was exceptionally loud - as in we had to shout to hear each other. The thermostat did not work as we would routinely need to turn off the A/C around 2am because the room was in the low 70s despite being set to 74 and then turn it back on around 5am when the room was 77. There is more, but this should paint the picture. All in all the property is costing on the snorkeling location.

Westin Cozumel worth every penny!
Absolutely magical stay! Gorgeous resort that is just the right size. Has everything you need unless you want a wild noisy place. If that’s the case, go to Cancun. The Snorkeling from the beach was fantastic and we are divers. The room was modern and very clean with nice linens and cool AC. Oceanview from every room. Get the all-inclusive package. It is absolutely worth it. With 24 hour room service included. The food was excellent. Always fresh with great variety. The service-this is where it really excels. A very BIG shout out to Vicki our server. I don’t think the woman knows the word “no”. She always had a big smile and made us feel welcome. She went out of her way on more than one occasion to satisfy our cravings. She is the BEST. Give this woman a promotion!!! She should be a team leader and show others how things should be done! We will return!

2nd visit
We love this island and Westin Cozumel is beautiful. Now after 7 years from previous visit it needs a refresh and nicer towels and beach towels but the staff still awesome. Since Marriott has taken over not great about upgrades. On our anniversary got nothing but again workers here wonderful. Beach bar staff,Eduardo and Santiago, the best. Ruth at the spa gave amazing facial and massage. Greeter and staff at breakfast so nice. The beach area and swimming is beautiful. They just need to update but we will be back. If you go on excursions use Cancun Advetures.
