Great little campsite. Everything worked as it should: clean toilets, hot showers, level pitches. Staff were helpful and the location is convenient. Good value for money. Will definitely return, great location for exploring and also close to the city. A hidden gem.

Unexpected GEM
Location was good for us. Full of character excellently maintained,there was everything if you wanted to be self sufficient but if you wanted meals on site you were catered for at a very reasonable price. As I made a mistake with my booking the staff went the extra mile for us to find us a last minute reservation even to the extent of sorting the issue out with Booking.com. Without reservation I would recommend this site to friends and families. Thank for your service 😘

A terrible night spoilt by selfish people.
Lovely location perfect for me walking Lands End to John o’Groats. Nice old building to relax in. Good continental breakfast and friendly staff.

- • No camp rules or a complete disregard for them: Late arrivals after midnight pitching up/ setting up with a complete disrespect of others who were asleep. People who hadn't booked arriving making a right racket banging on doors trying to alert staff. A couple falling out and someone racing away down the gravel track causing deep rut holes, dust and danger to site users. Even the owls were annoyed. At 2am when everyone settled down, the owls could finally start hooting which was a huge relief. It was a relief to get out.

- • Numerous small insects inside the tent, tent floor very dirty, made socks black. Bedsheets worn and stained.

Very relaxing
The staff were so helpful and friendly. This was my first solo break and the location was great . The site had everything you needed and walking distance to explore the out doors. They have nice food and good breakfast in the Moring.

I did not like anything about this reservation one of the worst experience ever.

- • I did not like anything about this reservation one of the worst experience ever. I got to the property without tent, the property did not have tent to rent. I was three young children, my mobile was been taken by the staff there to help me with cancellation free of charge. I was handed back my phone and I was told that I will get my money back in two weeks time, and now I am seeing that i will not get a single penny in refund. I called the property the following Monday and I was been told that property has refunded my money and I should contact Booking.com. I contacted Booking.com and I was been told that this was non refundable. I explained that staff authorised my refund when I was at the property. The way booking.com has dealt this case for sure I will never use them myself n future and not recommend to anyone. Lost hope in them.
