Suitable for a short stay in the off-season
Great location, less than 10 minutes walk to the ferry terminal. Perhaps due to the off-season, hardly encountered other guests, very quiet. Met 2 staff members at check-in, very friendly. Really liked the decoration at the entrance. Sitting on the front porch would be very comfortable if it weren't for the cold weather.

- • The room facilities are a bit basic, the bathroom mat is very dirty and torn. I booked a private room, but the private bathroom did not provide basic toiletries, which was inconvenient. The sheets and bedding were a bit damp, and there was a musty smell as soon as you entered the room.
All really nice! Personal, location, big rooms, lounge, kitchen... And the fire place is really nice in winter ;)

Perfect location, with a cool living room, kitchen, outdoor area, etc. and friendly staff.

If heaven exists on earth, it must be in The Villa - Picton.
Low season, just a few backpackers at the hostel, but it was exactly what I was looking for. Great staff, super clean, beautiful rooms, everything was great.

Excellent value for money and great location
We were looking for something clean, cheap, and close to town, and that is exactly what we got :) The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and we were only 5 minutes walk from town. Very basic but exactly what we were expecting for the price.

I liked that it is very close to the ferry, the beds have sockets nearby, and it is economical.

- • In the kitchen, especially in the utensil and cutlery drawers, a thorough cleaning would be needed from my point of view. The bathrooms are a bit old but could be cleaner, or maybe that's what happens when you arrive late. Anyway, the wifi in the room was very slow and the connection was not good.
