Excellent stay – perfect location near Kyoto Station!
The Thousand Kyoto is a fantastic hotel! Its location right next to the main Shinkansen station was incredibly convenient and saved us a lot of time. While it is about a 15-minute walk from Kyoto's main downtown shopping streets, we realized that being close to the train station is much more practical for exploring the city. Plus, there are plenty of high-quality restaurants right around the hotel, so finding great food nearby was never an issue. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the service was top-notch throughout our stay. Finally, the breakfast was absolutely delicious—the perfect way to fuel up before a long day of sightseeing. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

- • Room has a damp smell and it’s very small, ceiling very low so closed in, the curtains not 100% block out it had a few gaps in between them.
Excellent choice if you are visiting Kyoto

Comfortable, relaxing, fantastic!
Comfortable and quiet room. Very good bathroom. Attentive staff and 100% focused on guest assistance. Very good breakfast, just missed more lactose-free options such as, for example, plant-based milk. But would always come back! Congratulations!
