The Best Staffed Hotel!
We had an exceptional time at the St. Regis! Our room was spacious and clean with a lovely balcony overlooking the lush jungle forests. I was able to see monkeys and hornbills from our balcony. We were graciously given complimentary early check in and late check out which was perfect since we only had a one night stay. We would have loved to stay for two nights! The Afternoon Tea was a highlight for us. I hope that management gets to read this because Nana was the BEST employee that we encountered on our 10 day visit to Malaysia. She was SO kind and her interactions with us were outstanding--I hope that she receives a raise or a bonus. Thank you, Nana, for a superb afternoon tea experience! It was clear that St. Regis trained their staff exceptionally to make the guests feel welcomed. I was sad that I was unable to join other staff on the complimentary nature walk in the morning, but it was just too early for me on a vacation. :) My husband and I enjoyed talking the walkway past the water restaurant as we could go for a scenic stroll down the lane to admire the beauty of the area. Despite some construction that was happening at the property, we still enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel--both during the day and at night. The pool was relaxing and enjoyable. Well done, St. Regis!

- • I have very little to complain about! The beach, though they tried, is not especially nice. The water is beautiful to look at, but it is not particularly inviting to go for a swim. Which is OK because the pool is lovely! (although I would prefer an adults-only pool). Lastly, I was surprised given our experience at other hotels that, for the price of the room, the mini bar was not complimentary. It felt odd to pay such a high price for the room only to have additional prices asked of us from within the room. We did however receive a complimentary fruit plate which was enjoyable.
Best hotel in Malyasia
We had a wonderful 3 days staycation with my wife in that lovely hotel. Only 80+ rooms so it's really calm and quiet, perfect for Honeymoon vibes and taking time for ourselves. The room is beautiful, the hotel too and the private beach just like in a dream. The staff is the best. The butler was very nice and helpful and everyone was super friendly. They even sang a song when we left. Wonderful breakfast both buffet and A la carte. Fully equipped gym. Will be back

Very clean and beautiful property, great service. Very nice and elaborate breakfast, a lot of options and great taste! Room was nice and comfortable although was expecting a bigger size for St. Regis standards even for their basic room. Staff was helpful and available!

- • Had lunch at the Pantai grill which was disappointing. The burger was mediocre at best. Had dinner at Kayuputi, which was also just okay, for being the most highly rated restaurant in Langkawi it didn't deliver at all. Had the bisque which had a biter taste and had to be sent back, was better when it came back. Generally, flavors were okay, better options in the city I would say! Location is far from the main attractions but that's good because there's no noise and you can chill but transport cost adds up.

We had such an amazing stay at the St Regis hotel , from the moment we walked into this paradise . The staff are just wonderful and go far and a ove, nothing is too much trouble and they all do this with a genuine care and smile . Janifer and her team of boys, Ilham, Adiel, Am , odin . The bar staff, Bard , Ja ja , Gary . Faiz at the beach grill , Hafiz , diandra and danara, Wilfred , Na na etc , i know i have missed names and i apologise for that . Thank you for this luxury stay. The butler service is amazing , they are always there to help etc . The rooms are so clean , with all the luxuries you need .

That first impression set the tone for everything that followed. To our butler, Shabir—you truly made our stay unforgettable. Your attention to detail, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm elevated every moment. Nothing felt transactional; everything felt intentional. You anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, and that level of care is rare. Janifer, your energy was infectious. Every interaction with you brought a smile to our faces. You made us feel seen, welcomed, and genuinely cared for—something that cannot be trained, only felt. What stood out most was the consistency. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, beachside moments, activities, or even our departure—every touchpoint felt thoughtful and refined. Special thanks to Am for guiding us through the batik painting experience with such warmth, and to Hafiz for his attentiveness and excellent recommendations that made our mornings something to look forward to. At the spa, Marta and Jasvinna went above and beyond to curate the perfect package for our special occasion, while Bib and Syu delivered one of the most exceptional massage experiences we’ve ever had—deeply relaxing, precise, and truly memorable. I have travelled extensively and stayed in many five-star establishments around the world—but the level of service at The St. Regis Langkawi genuinely exceeded all expectations. Not just in moments, but consistently, across every single interaction. There are too many wonderful individuals to name, but to everyone who made our stay so special—thank you.
