You will not be disappointed at the Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa
The Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath is outstanding! It has the most gorgeous grounds, a beautiful restaurant and bar, rooms are spacious and appropriately decorated as well. The fitness and spa are modern and peaceful. The hotel is right in front of a beautiful park/green space where people spend time in the evening and is within easy walking distance to town. It was such a peaceful and relaxed experience after having spent almost 4 days in a very hectic London. We felt like we were being spoiled and a bit transported back in time yet with classic, modern amenities. My husband and I went for our 30th wedding anniversary to Amsterdam, London, and Bath. Having this as our final stop was the cherry on top!

- • We got a room in the basement which was so claustrophobic! And were asked to pay an extra 80 pounds (and did so) in order to get a room on the 1st floor.

Civilized solo break
Splendid location, airy Georgian public spaces, very welcoming staff. Will revisit. I stayed alone, as I have before, and found the hotel ideal for the solo traveler.

Have visited many times. A beautiful hotel and location. Very friendly, efficient staff. The rooms are immaculate with a lot of attention to detail.
