- • I booked 3 rooms, i requested early check in, i was able to get two rooms around 3 pm. However i have to begged to get the last room, after many phones call i was able to get it by 6 pm without any apologies. I was told that they only have one housekeeper per floor, which is insane to me
We love the Ritz and Philly!
Great location and the concierge floor is always a treat! We had an operational issue and the front desk manager Derrick immediately rectified it. Great hotel!

A bit outdated and in need of refresh
If you're traveling for business, this hotel is a passable option, but don't expect modern luxury. On the plus side, it sits right across from City Hall in a beautiful, historic bank building, and the room service has some great highlights like the fries and guac. The TV system is also incredibly fast, even if the screen is only 42 inches. However, the property needs some serious maintenance. The rooms feel dated, the bathrooms are tired, and the wall outlets are so loose that the plugs barely stay in. Sound insulation is also an issue, as street noise easily reaches the high-20s floors. Additionally, the immediate neighborhood can feel a bit unsafe after dark. It's a solid mid-tier choice for now, but it really needs an update to stay competitive.
