Luxurious base for a stay in Plettenberg
The hotel location on top of the cliffs overlooking the sea is great. The hotel is well fitted out and the rooms spacious and very comfortable. Early morning tea or coffee brought to the room is a very pleasant way to start the day. Breakfast buffet was varied and delicious.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at.
Hotel with great location, very beautiful and clean. We were very well received by the team who showed us around, offered us a small bottle of sparkling wine for our celebration, and were helpful at all times. The hotel's restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner, is very tasty with great service. Very good bed, quality shower, and free wifi working. We went by car, parking is located on the street but always with security guards. Great location, with good views of the beach and close to shops and restaurants in the city.

One of the best hotels in which I've ever stayed!
The Plettenburg Hotel was absolutely amazing. We were only there two nights and I wish I had booked a longer visit. The hotel itself is spotless, and hearkens back to a gentler time with overstuffed couches and exquisite decor. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was phenomenal (both breakfast and dinner). Having breakfast on the patio and watching the sun come up over the infinity edge pool over the ocean was breathtaking.
