- • Room B1 is a disaster and bringing down my overall rating. I booked through booking.com and could only figure out the final set up for room B1 once I had completed the non refundable booking. I don’t understand why the owners are charging the same price for this dumpster. The room is very small, make sure you don’t travel with a suitcase. It’s moist, very small window, very dark. You share the bathroom with a washer and a dryer but there is no sink/washbasin in the room. The pictures on booking.com actually don’t reflect how bad this room is. The room is right next to the very small breakfast area and next to the staircase, thus very noisy. Street noise was actually no issue but other guests arriving late in the evening and early in the morning. I’d like to come back but never ever again in room B1. Might be okay if you would rent this “room” for half the price to avoid negative feedback.

Nice spot for a one night stay
The breakfast was fine. The room was exactly as seen on social media. The location was different than anticipated. Passage Pizza next door was a great place for pizza.

Inn at Fisherman's Cove
Perfect place for our stay in Halifax. David, the owner, couldn't have been nicer and offered lots of good travel tips. The room was clean and I enjoyed having a balcony, despite the rain. Be sure to visit the Salt Marsh Trail for a beautiful walk.

- • Nothing really big. It’s just they could put black out curtains on the window facing the street. Some people are sensitive to light at night.
Owners were absolutely wonderful. Place as extremely clean, GREAT location. Will definitely be returning

Good accommodation outside of Halifax
Very good breakfast, egg dishes and pancakes could be ordered individually. Information folder was very helpful, both for the ferry transport to Halifax and restaurants nearby. Rooms very clean, check-in was completely relaxed via code. Parking right outside the door. Nice little coastal town with old fishermen's houses nearby. Location right by the water was very beautiful.

- • Steep narrow stairs to the rooms. Not for people who have trouble carrying a heavy suitcase.
Really clean, easy self check-in process, very comfy bed and nice balcony overlooking the harbor. Great location with easy access either to Halifax downtown or the Lawrencetown beach. Plus, David is very attentive and will give you excellent advice! Overall perfect stay!

We were treated so well by our hosts in this comfortable, well-appointed Inn.
Lovely location. Quiet and peaceful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hot drinks and snacks available 24/7.
