Beautiful hotel in a great location. Very fancy
The location was excellent. Close to many bars, restaurants and great shopping. also in walking distance to the river. The facilities were great.

Long weekend in the heart of James St
The location in the heart of James Street precinct was fantastic. The room was spacious and had a little balcony so we could get some fresh air. The large windows let in a lot of wonderful daylight.

- • The noise from people in the hallway was audible and we could hear a child crying in a neighboring room. There were no toiletries or treats supplied, e.g., toothbrush, biscuit to have with tea, etc. and we expect a tiny something like that at $800/night. The staff were a bit disinterested. We didn’t use the pool because it’s in front of a fine dining restaurant with no privacy and that felt awkward.
Perfect break to relax and recharge
The pool and restaurants are beautiful. The staff were so lovely and very accommodating. The room was a great size.

- • The breakfast in-room dining menu was a bit ordinary but the other food options onsite make up for it

- • My door faced the street that was very noisy but I needed the fresh air. Maybe next time I pay extra for a better room that faces the pool. Or balcony
