I would give Stonehurst Place an 11 if I could! We love everything about this bed and breakfast! Walking through the beautiful and well appointed historical home felt like we were walking through time - right in the middle of modern day downtown Atlanta. Our room was well decorated and comfortable. The bed is plush and the bathroom is modern and luxurious. Judy is the sweetest host and her team is so charming and talented. They went above and beyond to cultivate such a wonderful experience for us, especially at breakfast. Best pancakes ever!

A little Victorian gem, a fantastic welcome, a breakfast worth the detour
The pros: Stonehurst Place B&B is a Victorian-looking mansion with a very successful landscaped exterior. This old-fashioned charm not far from the skyscrapers of downtown is very endearing. A real plus: a small private parking at the back of the house allows you to park your vehicle safely and without risking towing. The welcome is wonderfully friendly and kind. Everything is done to welcome us in the best conditions (available 24/7: homemade cakes, brownies and other cookies, fresh drinks, coffee, tea...). The room we had (1st floor, attic) was a little gem: old-fashioned lattice windows, wooden floor, XXL sofa-shaped bed, walk-in Italian shower integrated into this small studio, congratulations on the interior design. And at breakfast the surprise: it was a real meal with braised orange, then spinach quiche, bacon and young shoot salad, all accompanied by coffee (relatively good for American coffee)

- • The cons: obviously Atlanta is an expensive city, Stonehurst Place being a well-located B&B near the Atlanta Botanical Garden, the rates are very high. To stay 1 night or 2 to discover this little gem nestled in the city, but unfortunately not for a longer stay
