Excellent property and staff, could not fault the hotel - I was surprised with an upgrade and my room looked over the nile.

- • Everything was perfect except for the spice seller who is a real scammer, I had to refuse a spice purchase for over €160 !!! With a so-called exceptional green pepper but after thinking about it, it is probably a pepper surrounded by wasabi (I will check this more seriously once I get back) we take small spice packets with random prices and in the end the bill is exorbitant ... Too bad the hotel does not sort out the gallery sellers because everything else is top-notch, I will definitely come back to this establishment ...
Extraordinary Lebanese food, 10/10!

Caring and attentive staff, it was a short but very pleasant stay
All the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, especially the baggage handlers and security as well as the marine captain (special mention to Mohammed and Ibrahim). Also, we were upgraded and had access to an early check-in which was very pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay. Despite the intense heat outside, the moment we enter the hotel, we immediately felt comfortable and refreshed. The staff was really exceptional. Everyone we met from reception to restaurant staff, housekeeping and security was friendly, respectful and welcoming. We also greatly appreciate the early check-in as we arrived early and the hotel kindly accommodated us. Our rooms had a beautiful view overlooking the Nile which made our stay more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We had a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

- • Can not remember.
We had spent our first night in Luxor at another hotel up the road a little closer to the Temple but it was not what we hoped or expected, just for one example its AC was weak, basically a backpacker hotel with some likely disappointed tour groups, so, the next morning we moved sight unseen (good reviews) to the Steigenberger and were very, very pleased. Nile view, excellent AC, clean, lots of restaurant options (all good), nice pool overlooking the Nile. Yes, it was about 60% more expensive, and worth more than that.
