- • A bit difficult to find the reception. Reception was rather cold. Very high prices in the hotel's restaurant, with inattentive service. The worst part for me was the shower in the tub, that should not be in a hotel like this.

Comfortable, lovely stay super close to attractions and many transit options
The hotel was very comfortable, staff were so kind and accommodating and the room was the perfect size for us. We were kindly upgraded to a suite which was such a lovely treat. The daily chocolates on the bed were such a lovely touch as well! Brussels was our last stop in Europe, and Stanhope was the best place to spend our last few days in Europe.

- • Perhaps they were busy or having a hard day, but the bar staff were quite grumpy and I didn't have the best interaction with them. Nevertheless, I was still able to get what I needed.
Elegant stay
The aesthetic and vibe of this hotel are fantastic. The classic decoration gives it a very elegant, upscale feel, and the common areas are lovely to sit and relax in. The location is perfect, central and well-connected, but in a very quiet neighborhood that allows for a peaceful stay. Above all, the staff were wonderful. Everyone I interacted with was extremely warm, friendly, and eager to help make the stay enjoyable.
