Wonderful, Warm and Welcoming
A lovely 3 day winter stay in the Stables with its cosy decor and fantastic views. It was spotless , quiet and the log burner was a great addition. Centrally placed amongst the vineyards of Blenheim. We were made most welcome by Sharon and Jason and we also enjoyed a top class cheese and charcuterie platter one evening.

We recently stayed for 4 nights in the Winemakers Cottage at Leonard’s Vineyard Cottages and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Jason and Sharon have thought of every detail to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. We were looking for somewhere to slow down, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and this place exceeded all expectations. The cottage was exceptionally well appointed, with high-quality inclusions throughout. The daily breakfast provisions were generous and a lovely touch, and even small details such as providing animal feed for the farm animals added to the overall experience and made our stay even more memorable. Jason and Sharon were fantastic hosts, offering great local winery recommendations and sharing their knowledge of the region. The facilities were first class, the setting was peaceful and picturesque, and the whole property is maintained to an incredibly high standard. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in Marlborough, we highly recommend Leonard’s Vineyard Cottages. We would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you, Jason and Sharon, for such a wonderful stay.

Excellent service & great stay
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Winemakers Cottage. The cottage is modern, spotless, and very well equipped, while still feeling warm, comfortable, and cosy. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. Sharon and Jason are wonderful hosts: welcoming, personable, and full of humour. Their dinner service provided us with two delicious evenings of food, and their recommendation to visit Small Town Winery for a glass of wine was excellent. What makes this place truly special is the personal attention. You genuinely feel cared for as a guest. And it’s not just Sharon and Jason—the deer, sheep, and chickens add even more charm and character to the experience. This was without doubt one of the nicest places we stayed during our trip around New Zealand, and we would happily return.

St. Leonards “the stables”…an absolute must!
Absolutely amazing location and stunning cottage. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a getaway. Will be planning another stay here! We stayed in “the stables” and it was incredible.

Trip to Marlborough vineyards
We came for 2 nights and stayed in the Shearers quarters. The accommodation was excellent and everything had been thought of for self catering purposes. The breakfast that was left in the room was superb from the cereal and fresh milk to the fresh eggs from the chickens and the fruit from the trees outside the windows. The pool was excellent. We did a Marlborough vineyards tour with Gavin and had a fantastic day and he picked us up from the front door at 10am and dropped us off at 4pm. The animals were lovely and it was great to be able to see them and meet the egg layers ❤️ The hosts Sharon and Jason were very helpful and friendly and Jason gave us a scenic route to our next destination which proved to be amazing. There is also a pottery on site as Sharon is an accomplished potter and has some great pieces on display and will soon be running pottery courses with accommodation. We wish we could have stayed longer and will be back 🤗

Excellent experience at St Leonards Cottages
We stayed in the Woolshed at St Leonard's Cottages. The Woolshed was set amongst beautiful vineyards with every amenity you could want. A lovely breakfast supplied to make in the morning with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen. The hosts Jason and Sharon were friendly, warm and accommodating.

A wonderful place to stay
What a wonderful find. Sharon and Jason thought of everything for our stay. The cottage was cosy, well appointed and beautifully decorated. Its location right in the middle of the premium wine region of New Zealand is just another reason for this accommodation to be so special.

Beautiful Cottage and Friendly Owners & Animals!
The location was fantastic for touring the Marlborough wine region. Very relaxed place with well equipped and comfortable cottages. We loved getting animal feed each day to feed the fallow deer, chickens and sheep in the grounds. So peaceful and secluded. The additional option of food delivery really helpful. The owners Sharan and Jason were very helpful and even gave us a list of places to visit on our onward journey in the South Island. I would definitely recommend - a real gem!!

Dreamy!!!!
Absolutely everything!!! The fastidiously clean cottage was so very cosy, with all the added touches of home. The extras were considerable with an abundance of yummy eggs, bread, butter, spreads, milk, nuts, fruit, yoghurt, coffee and chocolate.
