The price is slightly inflated for the Imperial brand
We were checked in earlier than the scheduled time. Upon check-in, a key card for the room is issued, which can be used to travel around the city on bus number 2 and 13, as well as on the funicular to the colonnades with mineral water. The room is equipped with a coffee set, as well as 2 welcome bottles of water

- • There is no air conditioning system in the building overall, neither in the restaurant nor in the rooms. When checking into a room on the sunny side, it is impossible during the daytime. It is understandable that they do not want to spoil the building with external units, but they could install stationary units inside. It is impossible to take a shower normally in the bathroom, as there is no shower head holder on the wall, so you have to hold it yourself. There is only one sauna in the pool area. In the morning, training sessions are held with patients, so it was not possible to just come and swim in the pool. Located on a hill, it will be difficult for unprepared guests to go out and return to the hotel
Poor medical staff and lack of respect
I came here for the second time. Last time we stayed for only 2 nights. This time I stayed for almost a week hoping to receive some medical treatments, but that was a huge mistake and disappointment

- • Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff with a lack of respect. People do not know English well enough for a basic conversation. On the other hand, they refuse to speak any other language. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were suspected of stealing or something. For example, the person who did the massage (well, the quality of his massage was as if he was just a stranger asked to play a role) started laughing at my disability when he saw it. It was so uncomfortable and unprofessional. I decided not to make a big deal out of it, but it had a huge impact on my mental health. He is in room c028 on the ground floor.

A unique and magical place. Totally recommended.
There are places that surprise you, and then there are places that leave you speechless. The Imperial Spa is one of the latter. For movie lovers, it is impossible not to think of Wes Anderson's Grand Hotel Budapest upon arrival — that same visual magic, that atmosphere of another time, that feeling of having entered a movie. And it's no coincidence, as the hotel served as inspiration for the film. Walking through its spaces is literally like being inside the screen. Everything is beautiful, everything is well taken care of. The gardens are beautiful, the privileged position with the funicular to go up gives it a special charm, the pool and the spa are an experience in themselves. As for the staff, they were always polite. Everything exudes a magic that is hard to describe in words — you have to experience it.

- • During our stay, we greatly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffet — rich, well-cooked, and served in a beautiful dining room that was part of the hotel experience. However, we were surprised that they cleared the buffet without prior notice to the diners at the tables. In hotels of this level, it is usual for the staff to approach the guests to inform them in advance that they are going to clear the buffet — a simple gesture that allows to enjoy the last moments and close the experience calmly and without surprises. It is a small custom that makes a difference and that we would expect to find in an establishment of this category.
Second time at this hotel and definitely not the last.
Very spacious rooms, large bathroom. Very clean and beautiful. Surrounded by forest. Very convenient to travel to the city with the funicular.

- • It's not even about the hotel, but if the room faces the forest and the road, the noise of motorcycles is very loud, and there are a lot of them in the summer.

Nice for relaxation
The building is beautiful and the location is wonderful... truly luxurious design. The buffet is quite rich with many healthy and tasty options. The jacuzzi and the pool are sparkling and pampering. The bed is very comfortable and the cable car down is very nice. Most of the people at the reception are very nice and also in the cafe Vienna. The facial treatment at the beauty salon was amazing (at an additional cost but worth every penny).

- • The TV is terrible and the room is so big that you can't see anything from the bed. We stayed for a few days with temperatures above 30 degrees and there are no air conditioners in the entire hotel, nor fans. When you open the windows, it is not enough until 2 in the morning when the wind starts, but also from trucks... the food repeats itself every morning and evening... but the most disappointing thing is the treatment center, which is the main reason for coming: 1. No one, simply no one there understands English out of dozens of staff, no one speaks a word of English! 2. The treatments last between 15-20 minutes and are not very good, you get less than what is promised in the package.
