This is not a 5 star hotel experience. We've been treated unfairly and discriminated against. Very bad experience.

- • Hotel is quite far from the city center - 15 to 20 minutes walk, with a chaotic taxi market making the location less attractive. Wi-fi is not working at all, and the staff is unfriendly and racist. The man at the reception greets white people with a smile and good service, but not us. There is a lady serving tea and coffee at the 9th-floor breakfast area, treating white people and Asians differently. Very slow response: stayed there for 3 nights and the room was not cleaned until I called the reception and waited for 30 minutes. Room facilities are very old and not well-maintained. Understaffed: too many group tourists, lobby always full and noisy.
Disappointing hotel not up to the associated stars.

- • Breakfast not up to the standard of a luxurious hotel, our room was not cleaned despite returning at 3 pm. They charged us for water bottles, which is absurd for such a hotel. Broken fridge in the room, very cold and noisy air conditioning. Kind but not attentive staff. Dinner at Casa Napoli inside the Steigenberger hotel was good, with friendly staff offering cigarettes and appetizers. If I were to return, I would book at the Steigenberger, very nice and kind staff. In our hotel, coffee and water were charged separately. Lots of noise from ongoing construction and very dirty room, which I find unacceptable.
The hotel was wonderful; both the services and the staff fully met our expectations. The hotel manager responded promptly to our complaint about the noise from expansion work, halting it for our stay. We were offered a complimentary full massage, showing great Egyptian hospitality. Highly recommended.

Stay here was a joy! A very nice hotel with all you need for a perfect holiday, located 20 minutes walk from Luxor temple. Varied breakfast and the staff can prepare a lunch box if you need to start your day early. The hotel can organize all tours you need and is safe. Clear swimming pool and a nice relaxation area. A pleasure to stay here.

Staff is very friendly. Mirna, Clara, and the receptionist were very helpful. Great hotel with a good location and spacious rooms.
