Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Room size was not that great.
We were accommodated in the Annex. The building has six rooms. It has a huge drawing room and kitchen. Building is fairly new and was very clean.

- • Two rooms in the first floor are quite a let down....not because of the size of the room, but because of the more than steep ladder one has to use to access the first floor. This steep wooden ladder is a huge dampener for people with limited mobility. The ladder needs to be replaced with a circular one, that will be easy to climb

- • In annexe, I was allotted a room at the first floor.. Stairs were actually dangerous and not at all user friendly.. one may fall down while going upstairs and coming down with the luggages.. I made a request to change my room many a times but they ignored it.. They were quite insensitive. Room size was also not upto the mark becox of sclant roof.. Guests may keep this in mind while booking annexe part of this hotel..

- • The hotel is located with rooms facing the lake with a view of McD and the clearly audible N2, with engine noise. The balcony was not nice, nor was the view, the room was not bad but for the price one could have expected more. The bathroom was disappointing, reminiscent of basic hotels, but certainly not 5* standard. Since we did not want to spoil our holiday, we left immediately. The attempt to get a refund failed, however, they offered us a free stay in the next 12 months, with the note that they were currently renovating and we would then get one of the renovated rooms. Nice, but not an option under the given circumstances. Oh, and for those like me who found the pictures of the Skybar and the pool so great - they were closed for renovation. Not mentioned at the time of booking, that alone would be worth compensation.
