Very nice stay with very nice staff
Nice hotel with very nice grounds. Needs s bit of maintenance and refresh.

- • My room was in the old library which was very spacious and equipped. Downside was the musty smell and dust. I had to take allergy meds to stay in the room. If they could do something about this everything would if been perfect.
Luxury with personal touch
Beautiful estate house transformed into a hotel. Staff was friendly and attentive. Garden is beautiful, room was lively with a fantastic terrasse. Breakfast was abundant and loved the complimentary cheese and wine tasting for guests

- • The bed is very very firm - almost like a piece of wood!
The property is beautiful with lots of original hand carved furniture, and the grounds are very scenic. There are peacocks everywhere, and lots of greenery. Plus the location is excellent located within walking distance to Sintra town.

- • The rooms feel dated and the beds are just OK. I don’t believe it was worth the price that it’s listed at. The main problem I had with this hotel is that there’s absolutely no sound proofing, which is crazy to me for a hotel. I received a noise complaint at 10PM on a weekend night when I was only talking to one other friend in the room with no music playing.

Sintra Marmòris Palace was truly spectacular. Whether you're traveling as a family or for a romantic getaway, it won't disappoint. Beautiful rooms, excellent food, and a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. One of the highlights of our Portugal trip.

A country feeling in the middle of a busy town!
An oasis in the tourist town of Sintra. It was relaxing being able to enjoy the view of the historic parts of Sintra whilst only being a short walk away. The staff were all friendly and super helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable and it was lovely being able to sleep with windows open and shutters closed. We enjoyed the 6pm drinks and nibbles and the entertainment of both the fado performance and Freddie the peacock. We also liked that we put an order in the night before for breakfast which would eliminate so much wastage of the normal hotel breakfast.

- • We would prefer to have had the bathroom separate from the bedroom not just the toilet.
Beautiful Hotel With An Amazing View
The hotel was charming and beautifully appointed. Our room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the afternoon wine and cheese with the magnificent view of Sintra and the Moorish Wall. Breakfast was fabulous as well. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We could not have been more pleased with our stay.
