- • Noisy, dirty, dark. Local families constantly hang out on the premises. They listen to loud music, talk loudly. Little children come with them, wandering unsupervised around the area and begging tourists for food and money. In the evening, there is almost no lighting on the premises, pitch darkness and nothing can be seen. There is no toilet paper in the bathroom in the evening. At night, locals shout and listen to music until 6 in the morning, it is impossible to sleep.

- • The address and phone number on bookings.com are wrong. It took us 2 hours to find the place, driving from Pilar to Post. The road was closed with no signs.
A gem close to Kruger with a wonderful cause
Super cozy and welcoming place. The staff was incredibly sweet and the hangout around the fire at night was great to socialize and chill. There are super cute cats and dogs as well. The best part was definitely that everything was made out of recycled and reusable materials and that they had a daycare to help local kids there. So with your stay there, you even contribute to a wonderful cause!

A beautiful hidden gem, come stay for culture, people, and experience
The staff there are amazing! Such kind people who go out of their way for you! A hidden gem for sure and make sure you stay enough days to learn about the eco-village and do some of the cultural tours or spend time with the children

Lovely place and staff but go with friends and your own transport.

- • It is not a busy hostel. As a solo traveler expecting to meet people, I was the only guest for 5 nights. Also, without my own car, transfers were expensive and a miscommunication about my transfer to and from the airport meant I had to pay double what I had been told.

The place was a little oasis of peace and calm with some of the friendliest staff members I have ever encountered. You truly are treated with a great deal of respect. My brother and I had a wonderful time and could fully relax. The atmosphere and setup really lightened the mood and made enjoying the holiday that much easier.
