- • Just because it's an old hotel, it has a somewhat particular smell, but nothing difficult to tolerate. It's normal in old hotels with a lot of carpet.

- • When I book a double room, I expect a double room, especially when I booked almost a year in advance. I can't help feeling that the Sheraton sees that the booking was made via booking.com and takes the booking with less gravitas than they should.

Classic Lima
Despite the chaotic traffic, it is located in an area full of history and old buildings. In front of the Supreme Court, with a beautiful structure.

- • Breakfast was terrible, after trying it once we did not go back for breakfast as it was really poor quality and taste. Additionally, you need to pay extra, for example, for sparkling or bottled water. There was a big mold issue in the bathroom. We were offered to change the room, but unfortunately, all bathrooms had similar problems. Room service offer was very limited and even that experience was bumpy. There were no amenities in the rooms apart from the bar soap. I expected a 5-star hotel as it says on Booking.com, but on the building, it says 4 and even this is very questionable, sadly. The hotel is very old and needs a major renovation. I have stayed in many hotels in Peru and this one I would not recommend.
