The breakfast was good. It was quiet at night. Everything was clean. I was out during the day anyway.

- • The advertisement mentions Jl.Sriwedari. I don't find it convenient, especially with heavy luggage. My taxi found the accommodation via Jl. Sandat. It's a very narrow street. The accommodation is not easily accessible by car (on arrival and departure days). It's a disaster with oncoming traffic. Then it goes into a narrow alley, but that's not a problem. What's confusing is that the accommodation is advertised as Sastra Ubud House but called Sastra House on-site.
Lovely place to stay with delicious breakfast and friendly owners. Can recommend Sastra House 👍

The room was spacious and pretty. The terrace furniture was nice to sit at in the mornings. Having a desk was important to me, so that was definitely a plus, as well as a good internet connection. Water refills are hugely appreciated.

- • The smell coming from the bathroom sewage was not nice at all, and I was told there was nothing that could be done about it. Keeping the door shut made it better. It was very hot and humid when I stayed, so the fan wasn't enough for me to have a good sleep or work in the room. Having a kitchen was hugely important to me, but it wasn't clean, so I didn't feel like prepping quick food there.

- • Unfortunately, the room smelled very unpleasant and there was a lot of mold on the ceilings, and it was damp. In the morning, it was also somewhat noisy due to some construction work in the garden.
Excellent service, delicious breakfast and food, they also offer scooter rentals and shuttle service. Very good.

Everything lovely & absolutely worth the little money!
The place was completely clean, tasteful furniture, hosts really friendly and helpful, amazing breakfast, beautiful garden; absolutely worth the money! My daughter loved it there. We'll stay there again, thank you for everything

Amazing!
Even though it's in a central location, just a short walk down an alley, it's in a quiet place with few rooms, so it's very peaceful. The owner with a lovely smile is very kind and the cleaning is always impeccable. The spacious room and strong water pressure in the shower make it comfortable. Since other guests are often in their rooms, I think it's a very comfortable place to stay. There are plenty of greenery in the garden, and pleasant birds are always chirping. I think it's the best place.
