Fabulous and fun! 10 out of 10! Will book again!
This location has everything - amazing staff, comfy rooms, a fabulous breakfast. Even the shared bathrooms were immaculate. Best of all, its in an historic location that has some spooky history!

- • They did a really good job at turning a jail into a hostel, but the sizes of the room, the windows, the structure is still original and it really feels like sleeping in an old jail. I did the jail tour before I slept there, which wasn't a good idea because it felt so creepy at night, after seeing where they hang people, why people would be put to jail, how long the prisoners would stay there in really bad conditions. Do the tour after your stay! But my real issue is that I felt claustrophobic at night, hence I didn't sleep well at all, I just wanted to leave but couldn't afford to. I was in a pod that felt too small in a 10 people dormitory. I guess people who don't have this issue really appreciate the place, sensitive hearts might wanna consider other options...

Alojamiento muy original en el centro de Ottawa. Me alojé en una "celda" individual y la experiencia es para vivirla. Repetiría sin duda. Personal amable. Incluye el desayuno, y el aire acondicionado va como una moto. Tiene lavadora y secadora gratis (te venden allí el detergente si no lo llevas). Había reservado previamente alojamiento en dormitorio común, pero al llegar solicité el "upgrade" a la celda individual y no hubo ningún problema (la diferencia es de aoenas unos pocos dólares). No hice el tour guiado pero tenía muy buena pinta. Si vuelvo a Ottawa me alojaré aquí de nuevo.

- • Por poner alguna pega, noté el desayuno algo pobre. No espero un desayuno digno de un marajá pero se echaba de menos, por ejemplo, algo de embutidos y no tanto carbohidrato. Pero, vamos, pecata minuta al lado de todo lo bueno que tiene este alojamiento.
