- • The cleanliness bathroom was filthy especially the floor. Room very cold asked for heating to be put on. Was told no as heating heated up whole building and some guests might not want it on. Did bring us a heater. Tv was broke. Was told it wouldnt be fixed till following day. But after us saying thats not acceptable and asking for them to bring tv from an empty room they did.

- • The £10 charge of being later for just 15 minutes even when ring them at the airport because there did let of plane straight away we was setting on the plane for a while. I explained this to lady on the phone. I thought is was wrong cause is was not my fault. The room was freezing cold no heating on i could not get to sleep cause I was that cold

- • When we booked on here, it stated breakfast included, but its continental not cooked. Had to pay extra and had to give an exact time for it to be served. Had the first day and was poor. Didn't have the second day. The continental side of it was worse. The room smelt awful. It was a drains and damp smell. Couldn't have a shower to go out in the first night as the owner had turned the hot water off for the whole hotel and we had to wait 45mins which we couldn't as we had a table booked. The heating was on full blast all night in a cramp room where we couldn't open the windows as we were ground floor and there were foxes trying to get in the bins half the night. Happy hour was 4-6pm, buy one get one free for £7.99. All the advertising suggests all drinks. False. Its just 2 types of beer. Nothing else. They were served at the same time so the second one went warm. And they were just poured from a can! Location the only decent thing but you have to pay extra for the parking. Never again.

- • Dirty shower floor towel on arrival. Very thin walls, someone snoring on the floor above kept me awake. Weird atmosphere

Like a fawlty towers hotel.
It was fairly close to the NEC which was why we booked it and the room was tiny but clean. It did have a kettle which was also good.

We arrived and asked if there was food available and the waiter/ hotel manager said that they have an on site Indian restaurant and after driving for 5 hours I didn’t want to get back in the car so we thought an Indian would be perfect and were excited for a lovely Indian Masala. We found a table in an odd set up of a dining room ( clearly used as their office space too with a personal computer and desk in the corner ) and we had to ask for a drink. The wine was off ( rose) and it got replaced with a glass of white wine after I had to ring a bell for attention as he disappeared. We asked for a menu and there were three options available as mains that were Indian dishes unless we wanted pizza or burgers. The masala had run out and he said it would be back next week. So we opted for one and we were told by our waiter not to have that one because it was “horrible” ! So we chose the only other option- a lentil dish which turned up and was stone cold. I asked if it was supposed to be cold and he said no and said it’s difficult to heat more than one dish at once… and because we wanted rice too it was just one of those things which is weird when there’s a big kitchen so he said he’d heat it up. I said no thanks as it was ghastly so we decided to leave and drive to find something nearby. He charged us £11 each for the awful wine! The only other person in the room had eaten a burger and he left most of it saying it was not nice and that his beer was £9, his wine was straight from the fridge and he was upset he’d paid for breakfast up front. Luckily we hadn’t fallen into that trap. Our room was on the very top floor and was tiny. One bath towel between two people and two small towels. My friends bed was okay but mine was lumpy and uncomfortable and I barely slept. We were so grateful for the local fish and chips down the road so we didn’t go to bed hungry. I’d advise against staying here.
