It was a beautiful room, I recommend it to everyone with peace of mind.

The location of the facility is great, right above the Royal Mile, very easy to reach, 5 minutes to the train station, the treats they offered us were also great, well thought out, thank you.

👎 Disliked
  • We stayed on the 3rd floor, as the building dates back to the 16th century, there was no elevator, we struggled quite a bit carrying our suitcases.

We enjoyed our stay in the compact and bijou Dundas room, great location and quirky.

Excellent location to visit Edinburgh and staying right on The Royal Mile, obviously a busy spot for tourists. It’s a very unique building with a quirky feel, spiral staircase, and history. Good communication from Julia and the property owners about the location and access to the accommodation, very clear instructions and information. Good variety of shops and restaurants in the area for breakfast, etc. The Castle is a two-minute walk up the hill from the property.

👎 Disliked
  • The Dundas room was compact and bijou, fine as a base to sleep and very close to everything, but not much space and the shower/toilet is tiny, not suitable for tall/large people. It is clean but the mattress is a bit worn, and the sheet had a mark on it. It’s an old building and the window frame needs attention.
