As the only guests (off season) for three nights, we were treated royally!
The team was marvellous! And the property gorgeous. Delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, served in the best surroundings to suit the climate of the day. Cosy fire at night, sunny verandah at lunchtime, and beautiful breakfast dining room on chilly mornings.

Reception staff seemed disinterested, the cleaning staff were very friendly and polite. Rooms were very tiered and dated

- • Air conditioning (the heating) didn’t work, it took several attempts to get the staff to move us. Not happy 😡
Oasis in the heart of Oudtshoorn - services was excellent - the staff warm and welcoming - property grounds stunning and very well maintained - dinner was wonderful and pre-dinner drinks by the fire in an beautifully decorated house such a treat! Will definitely be back!

Adorable luxury
We have been visiting the Rosenhof for many years and make a detour just to visit the hotel because of the Rosenhof. The lovable atmosphere, the luxurious room furnishings, and the friendly staff make each visit an experience.

During our six day tour of the Garden Route, the Rosenhof certainly got the value for money prize. With a 'colonial' vibe to the property, it was clean, comfortable with spacious well equipped rooms and a delightful team of staff. The evening meal was excellent.
