Simply great and transported back to the 17th century!
The house - absolutely centrally located - was built in 1686 to the best of my knowledge and of course determines the furnishing/steep stairs up to the attic. It is enchanting and unbeatable in its location by the small harbor. Just beautiful... Breakfast is like a breakfast in a luxury hotel.

Beautiful room with a magnificent view
Perfect location, charming hotel with a beautifully decorated room. Extensive breakfast, wine and fully stocked minibar included in the price and a beautiful view from the room.

- • Soft, slightly sagging bed. Very steep stairs, a dangerous staircase for the elderly or those with limited mobility. Mobile air conditioning in the room that did not cool well and makes so much noise that sleeping is very difficult.

- • The tap in the room was loose, and the drain of the wash hand basin was partially blocked with the lid of something a previous occupant had dropped down the drain hole. No plug for drain hole
Recommended hotel if you go to Ghent!
The hotel's name was true to its promise of a wonderful view. And when viewed from the outside, the hotel building itself was also part of the scenery, which was wonderful. The interior was also lovely. Madame who assisted us, the breakfast staff, everyone was warm and we had a pleasant time. The breakfast was delicious and rich.

- • I specifically chose a room with a kitchen and was prepared to buy side dishes and eat in the room. However, there were hardly any dishes, and at night, the kitchen area was dark, making me think that it was not really intended for use.
A wonderful stay in a fantastic location.
A perfect location: wonderful views and you really felt part of the area. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms had everything you needed and the accommodation was really generous with inclusive drinks and amenities. Breakfast was fresh, of great quality, and abundant.

Breakfast was phenomenal. The dining area setting was incredible. Great views while eating and a very relaxing setting. The room was perfectly located, close to everything and probably the most active area of the city. Bie and the staff were wonderful. Parking was convenient, secure, and a good value. The views from the room were outstanding.

Middle of a beautiful city! Stunning!!
We loved our stay here! We were in the loft, just glorious! The views, the space, and the outdoor balcony with sun all day! Breakfast was wonderful.
