- • It's not very clean, the first night we were left without air conditioning. The glass bathroom door didn't close properly, so there wasn't much privacy. Anyway, the accommodation was correct. The room is beautiful. The coffee is very tasty.

We were hot and uncomfortable, so would elect to stay elsewhere in the future.

- • Porto was experiencing the heat wave that so much of Europe suffered. However, the hotel’s ac was either not working at all or simply not able to keep up. We were quite uncomfortable in our room. Additionally, I would not be comfortable traveling alone in Porto with a stay at this hotel, simply because the desk is not staffed after 3:30 pm. We didn’t see any other guests. It was creepy coming into a hotel that felt empty.

Nice guest house, clean and comfortable. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Very good location and starting point to visit the city.
