- • The value for money is completely unjustified. We paid nearly 1,000 MAD per night for a triple room when we were only two people. A room with two beds would have been more suitable. The room was very disappointing: no water bottles, no amenities or welcome products, insufficient air conditioning despite the heat, and strong noise disturbances. The windows are equipped with double glazing, but it is impossible to keep them closed because of the heat. The bathroom was also problematic: no drainage grid, bad sewer smells, and general lack of hygiene. The breakfast, although included, was very limited and not generous: a croissant, a tea or a coffee. When I asked for a cheese omelette, I was served an omelette made of a single egg, with no cheese. Before our arrival, I had specified that I am Muslim and requested a hygienic shower spray as well as a prayer mat. Only the prayer mat was provided; we were informed that no shower spray was available. Finally, the reception was also disappointing. As the riad is located in the heart of the medina, we expected to be accompanied from the nearest access point with our luggage. The person in charge of welcoming us simply stayed at the entrance of the alley, without assistance. I also asked if it was possible to get a room on the first or second floor, but this was refused without any alternative being offered. As a hospitality professional, I consider this experience to be well below the expected standards for this price level. I do not recommend this establishment, and my rating is 0/10.

- • The room was very noisy. Noise coming from the alley below, with fights and arguments until 4 am, not to mention a group of British customers who made noise until 3 am on the second night. Yet I have a heavy sleep and I am used to traveling, especially in West Africa. The king-size bed is not one. I am 1.82m tall, I know what I'm talking about. The owner went on a long rant about good and bad customers classified by nationality, and his hatred of 'Sahelians' as he says. Too bad, I have a passport from Sahel countries, even though I am white. My husband and children are Sahelians, and we are proud to be. Not to mention that the rate paid was not the one announced by booking. A room of this category for 75 euros per night, a real scam. So, check the room carefully before saying yes. I hated this place and this racist owner. I left a day earlier than planned without a refund.
