Very good value for money
2 rooms in Ghiseh, very close to the Pyramids. The AC worked well, the beds were quite comfortable with sheets (bottom and duvet on top). The breakfast is decent.

- • The hotel is located very close to the place where camels and horses are tied up to take tourists to the Pyramids every day, so the smell is strong, and it's very dusty. But the people are nice, no particular issues. Watch out for souvenir vendors who will all tell you that their grandfather is a glassblower and will sell you very expensive glass items and perfumes... once you realize you've been had, you'll notice they all tell the same story. Pay attention to attire, you should respect the locals and perhaps opt for loose pants over shorts.
Delicious breakfast at any time that suited us and our schedule. 3 rooms next to each other sharing a large rooftop terrace with a view of the Pyramids. Walking distance to the Pyramids, and you can also walk to the large museum. Quiet location.

- • A bit hidden, only accessible through small alleys. Cairo taxi drivers can find it though.
Great value for the money.
Great location, very close to the pyramids – only about an 11-minute walk to the Sphinx entrance. You can even see the pyramids from the terrace, which is amazing. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was really nice and available at any time.

- • The area has a noticeable smell from camels and horses, which we were already expecting based on previous reviews. There are also many dogs around – they might seem a bit intimidating at first, but they didn’t bother anyone. Overall, it’s just something to keep in mind if you’re not used to this kind of environment.
Very comfortable room with excellent breakfast. Omar is a very friendly host who gave me some excellent advice on taxis.

The courtyard is clean and quiet and a few minutes' walk to the pyramids. The host is very nice and can arrange breakfast according to your time.

- • It is true that there are many animals outside the courtyard and the smell is strong, but it seems to be a problem for anyone who lives near the pyramids, and I prefer it to the noise and garbage on the street.

- • Kind of spartan, and it’s down a side alley that was kind of hard to find, but for the price it’s a good value.
