Fantastic luxurious experience.
The finest hotel I've stayed at. Pure luxury. I stayed in room 309. According to the butler who showed the room, it was the largest room in that room category and it was spacious. Fantastic bathroom. The pool, wow. I went down shortly after 7 in the morning, the area opens at 7, and it was just me there. Incredibly peaceful. You get what you pay for, if you want to stay luxuriously central, this is the accommodation for you! Tips. Old Town, cozy to just stroll around. If you like schnitzel, you should visit Podwale 25 Kompania Piwna (see picture). A walk over the Vistula River. A visit to Mirowska market hall, an outdoor and partly indoor market. There are many Polish sweets. Wedel is the famous brand. Even their donuts Paczki are well worth trying, especially when they are freshly made. Dobra Pączkarnia located along Nowy Świat street, is a bakery that sells directly through a window facing the street. If you want to get away from the most touristy places, you should stroll down Nowy Swiat street, more authentic restaurants there.

- • This is not a criticism of Raffles Europejski, but of Booking. I assume that the majority staying at this hotel have extremely deep pockets and unexpected expenses do not bother them. Nowhere when booking on Booking did it mention that the hotel charges a deposit, or it was too vaguely formulated, because I was a bit taken aback when I was checking in. I had made sure I had room for the room fee and a little extra, but not for the deposit. After trying to put it all together between my 3 bank cards, where one did not want to allow withdrawals, they were kind enough to let me pay the next day. They assume you have deep pockets, otherwise you wouldn't have stayed there. I have semi-deep pockets, so it was no problem to pay the deposit the next day, once the bank transfer had gone through. A bit embarrassing situation, so more of a heads up for those of you planning to stay at Raffles, email them before departure and ask about the deposit. 5-star luxury hotels mostly have very wealthy guests, which is reflected in the tips you get from the staff. You have to accept that this is how they are trained. If you don't just want to check out Gucci and Louis Vuitton, you're better off doing your own research if you plan to shop a bit. Westfield Arkadia is Poland's largest shopping complex. A tip.
