Historic hotel in the city center
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy rooms, really liked the historic charm of the hotel perfectly combined with comfortable rooms, we had 2 rooms for the family, the kids were delighted with the ice cream served at the restaurant by Kukurucho, very atmospheric, memorable.

- • Breakfast has a lot of unnecessary dishes (lots of jams, syrups) that are served by default.
We only spent one night but it was a nice experience.
And in the historic center recognized by UNESCO, it is true that it is a bit dated but it is part of its history. A beautiful experience that takes us back in time. The staff is very kind and super helpful.

Grand Old-World Luxury in the Heart of Historic Quito
We stayed in a Royal Suite Front King. I paid GBP 203 / USD 267 per night, including breakfast. A grand, luxury hotel in the old style. An old building beautifully renovated and restored, in a great location with outstanding service. Highly recommended, I doubt there is a better place to stay when visiting Quito. Just beware of the local pick-pockets. The “Good”: - Very large, spacious rooms - magnificently and comfortably furnished. - Spotlessly clean - Super king sized bed with great quality bed linens and such excellent pillows. - Excellent location: you are in the heart of historic Quito and within easy walking distance of the major downtown sites; there is so much to see and do close by; and there are many great restaurants to choose from. - Impeccable full service: responsive, friendly and the highest professional standards. Beware: - The over spa-bath shower is difficult to access, and whilst there is plenty of hot water it is difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. - Petty crime is an unfortunate epidemic in many modern cities, put particularly so in Quito. Take sensible precautions to protect your valuables.

great staff, service was exceptional. room was superb great old world feel to it. would return
the breakfast was superb steak and shrimp omelette with local fruits coffee was the best i have ever tasted the view over independence square was great

Wonderful staff
Extremely good service and comfortable clean rooms, but the food wasn't brilliant. The staff went above and beyond to support us during the stay, especially as we had a lot of bags. Central location in the old town.
