Can really recommend the hotel!
The hotel was perfectly located within walking distance to everything despite being in a quiet area. Very friendly staff and nice room. Towels were changed twice a day. Fantastic breakfast and lovely view.

Beach and culture during a stay in a great hotel in a beautiful coastal town.
The hotel complex has a dreamy location in an old fortress overlooking the beautiful harbor. It has an indoor and an outdoor pool. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very varied.

Enjoyable up to a point.
Breakfast was good, staff were charming. Enjoyed our balcony with views of the marina — quiet, good air con, good shower. Loved the position, the wine bar, the restaurant, the shops — though one artist in their studio wasn’t welcoming. Loved the bustle around the Palace when the president had guests for the evening. Pool much appreciated though small and a bit tired.

- • Floors and cupboards were a bit old and scuffed. Phone charging points needed by the bed not the other end of the room. Plug didn’t fit bath, even when they changed it at my request, so having a bath never worked because the water drained away. Finally — this leaves a nasty taste in my mouth — I think some earrings were stolen from my bag in the bathroom: two gold clips, carefully detached from the decorative malachite balls that usually hung from them (balls were left behind). In the light of a previous comment about AirPods being taken, there’s clearly a pilfering problem at your hotel which would make me hesitate to book again.
