  • There was no desk or chair in my room. Possibly a bad choice on my part and next time I will be sure I am in a room with desk and chair.

Disappointing for an Isrotel Premium Collection hotel

I generally like the Isrotel Premium Collection and have stayed at almost all of the hotels in the collection. Because of that, I had fairly high expectations for the Orient Jerusalem. Unfortunately, this was one of the weaker experiences I have had with the brand. The hotel itself is attractive in theory, but in practice many things felt poorly maintained or only partly finished. The general fit and finish were not at the level I would expect from a premium hotel. Several areas looked worn, unfinished, or not properly cleaned, especially in the bathroom and around some of the fixtures. Cleanliness overall was also not quite where it should be. Breakfast was average, which would have been acceptable, but the service at breakfast was very poor. It felt disorganized and inattentive, and it did not match the standard I associate with Isrotel’s higher-end hotels. Overall, the Orient simply did not feel comparable to Carmel Forest or Beresheet. Those hotels feel much more carefully managed, better maintained, cleaner, and more consistent with the Premium Collection standard. This was not a terrible stay, but it was definitely disappointing, especially given the price and the reputation of the brand.

The pools were both excellent, not crowded and well maintained, the hotel is shining, most of the service staff

  • At check-in, there was not good reception based on my lack of understanding, but there was no feeling of wanting to help me and assist me in solving My children found a stock of hidden alcohol in the room and it was a really bad experience, Breakfast was more intended for adults, the children didn't find themselves and therefore in most meals they didn't eat
