- • They did not return deposit. Hotel sent me an email that the deposit will be returned but did not return it. Only after 1 month my bank automatically returned it.
Nice hotel in the Bronx with a classic look
It is a historic house, built in the 19th century and therefore a bit removed from the Bronx. The classic style continues inside as well. We were glad to have found a room here at an acceptable price according to US standards, despite the Labor Day weekend. The staff was also quite friendly.

- • Breakfast might be a bit unusual for a European, no cold cuts for the bread, only boiled eggs that were not replenished towards the end of breakfast time. At least there was fruit, cereal, and especially sugary pastries. The location is naturally ambivalent. In general, you can quickly reach the city center by subway, but the Bronx is still the Bronx, with pockets of poverty and not the highest sense of security. But that's what you have to expect.
