Upscale location, great staff, very clean and great views. Even though I left Shanghai 20 years ago, when I come back and try to book my hotel, Okura Garden Hotel is always the No. 1 choice.

- • Except for the person at the reception, no one speaks English. For a 4-star hotel, the bathroom is not great and very old.

Breakfast is terrific. Swimming pool too. Chief concierge very helpful. The location and the history associated with the building.
