Beautiful family-friendly resort
Stunning pool area with lots of little nooks and sections so that it never felt busy. It had a shallow area with a beach (graduated) entrance on one end for small kids. The staff at the restaurant and pool bar did a great job on food and cocktails. Staff at reception were very helpful and there's a small shop for any emergency needs. Waterfall and fish pond at the reception made it feel very tropical and relaxing. Shower and facilities inside the room were great, we got a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and often there was live music at night to enjoy.

- • - We were in a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, which had cooking facilities but sadly didn't have a toaster - Small but odd, we had three people in our room and every day they would remove the towels and only give us 2 back (sometimes not even bath towels but pool towels, once took our bath mat and didn't replace it) so had to go to reception a few times throughout to sort out - A bit too far from the main street to walk with a toddler but we knew this before booking; there's a shuttle bus which will pick you up or drop you off wherever you request. Worth factoring in the cost of the shuttle to the trip as may be better to rent a car

- • Location too far from the main street. Carpet pulling up in multiple spots. Paid 4k for 8 nights, not worth it. Dead moth in downlights. Tried calling reception multiple times to no answer and wasn't that busy. Had to call the main oaks number. Tired 2-bedroom apartment. TVs too old and cannot stream to it.
Lovely Resort, skip breakfast?
The check-in staff were lovely and very helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is so nice, one member of staff even trying to help us as she was leaving at the end of her shift. We were upgraded to an apartment which was simple but very nice.

- • The breakfast was not great. Luckily we got a deal that was included but I am glad I didn't pay for it. Also, the coffee was bad. We paid for 2 iced lattes with vanilla syrup. It tastes like there was 1/4 cup of syrup inside I could not drink. Breakfast team seemed flustered. The chef was complaining under his breath but audibly while refilling the breakfast.
Rather disappointing as it was quite a drive from the beach and my room was difficult due to difficulty

Overall a great stay, had everything we needed.
The large lagoon-style pool was a hit with the family. Staff super friendly and welcoming.

- • Only a minor thing, the room lighting was brash and neon. Could be warmer and much more inviting. Wasn’t enjoyable at night to hang out in the room.
