Lovely old building with lots of character
Fantastic location - just up the road from Lady Danbury's house! There is a wonderful spa in the basement which we thoroughly enjoyed. It's a lovely old building, quirky with lots of character. Bath is a beautiful city- everything is walkable and the weather was fantastic.

- • The breakfast was nice but limited, with everything cooked to order as per the menu. Would have preferred a hot buffet and a much wider food selection. The room was not as described, it should have been 2 double beds but was arranged as 1 sofa bed and 2 singles zipped together. With the sofa bed out, there was not enough room to walk around it so we had to set up the sofa bed each evening... It was more like a guesthouse than a hotel

Beautiful room, really friendly and professional staff, will be back!
Beautiful room with comfortable bed, living space and bathroom with bath. Noticed the details like the Dyson hairdryer which made it feel even more luxury. The pantry is amazing and included in the booking - sweets, biscuits, crisps, ice cream, drinks. Staff were so lovely

- • Windows were single pane and couldn’t fully close and the night sounds were loud and we didn’t sleep well.
Relaxing and well looked after.
Our stay was fantastic. We were there for our anniversary and they upgraded us to a bigger room and we had a bottle of champagne - we felt really looked after there and the team couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend if looking for a place to stay in Bath. We had spa treatments and both Freya and Uma were brilliant.
