- • Stayed at Apple Residence for 1 night and 2 days. The check-in process was somewhat smooth at first, but the overall experience was very disappointing. After receiving the keys and entering the residence, we immediately noticed that the toilets were dirty and had an unpleasant smell. This was unacceptable, especially considering they charged RM80 for a cleaning fee. On top of that, the unit did not provide enough mattresses as advertised. We had to repeatedly message the host and explain the issue multiple times. Communication was extremely frustrating and inefficient. Eventually, they sent an extra mattress, but left it outside the unit without informing us. We only discovered it after messaging them again. We also found that there was no microwave in the residence, despite it being clearly listed in the advertised facilities. When we raised this issue, they simply replied that there was no microwave. This is misleading and feels dishonest, as customers are being promised facilities that are not actually provided. After I sent them a screenshot showing that a microwave was included in the listing, they stopped responding altogether. I have already filed a complaint with Booking.com regarding the owner and requested a refund so that future customers will not be misled or experience the same issues. This is the first time I’ve had such a bad experience with a property owner. I’ve stayed in many residences before and have always had pleasant experiences, so this was extremely disappointing.

- • I was very disappointed with my stay at this homestay. The room and bathroom had an unpleasant smell upon arrival. The curtains could not be fully closed, which affected privacy. The floor felt sticky and unclean. The recreational facilities were also poorly maintained. The mahjong set was missing a tile, and the pool table was missing a ball, making both unusable for a proper game. In addition, there was not a single mirror in the entire house, which was very inconvenient. The bathroom also lacked any shelf, hook, or rack to place or hang clothes and personal belongings.
