Perfect little hotel for a weekend away.
We stayed because It was over the road from where our daughter has just bought a tiny apartment that couldn't fit us! It was a perfect location for visiting her, hanging around the great pubs, bars and restaurants of North Melbourne and the Vic markets. Tram is right there. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is impeccably clean. It's perfect for somewhere to sleep, rest and shower. There are shared kitchen facilities upstairs if required. We've rebooked for a wedding in October!

- • Nothing really. The rooms are quite small and don't have views.
The room was very comfortable and quiet despite the proximity to a busy road. Large, comfortable bed. The fridge and kettle in the room were very useful and so was the shared kitchen area. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back!

- • The kitchen could be a bit better equipped: we found only one fork. Perhaps a colander... Walls are a bit on the thin side, so if your neighbour are loud you might hear them.

- • There was no lift. Had to walk up the stairs to the second floor with heavy luggage. Having to step up into the shower
