- • Was disappointed that we did not get our bed made and the bathroom was full of mould. The curtains were hanging off the rods and the room was just a little bit run down.
Gorgeous place to stay.
Maylands Lodge is gorgeous. The bed was comfortable, the room delightful, the shower was hot and I loved the warmed bathroom floor! The art in the hotel is very well curated and there are a lot of hang out spaces with comfortable chairs. I loved wandering in the gardens. Breakfast was delicious. Don't overthink it, stay here.

The building has a beautiful classical exterior, while the interior combines classic and modern styles. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious, and the on-site parking was very convenient. The staff were attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service.
